Tour location: Situated on the right bank of the Amazon River, 60 km from Leticia and 4 km into the heart of the jungle.
Day 1
Heading north from Leticia, navigating along the Colombian right bank of the majestic Amazon River, we embark on a journey of approximately 60 km. To continue along a natural path of 4 km, arriving at the Nature Reserve Tupana Aru Ü, located in the heart of the jungle., nuestros colaboradores locales le darán la bienvenida y toda la información necesaria para su estadía. Day 2
Free morning to prepare for the jungle expedition. After lunch, we take a natural trail deep into the forest for several hours, locating a suitable spot to set up an improvised camp with hammocks and mosquito nets. Here, we prepare traditional meals and explore the surroundings in a survival adventure. Accompanied by locals, we embark on exploratory walks in search of wildlife such as owls, frogs, nocturnal monkeys, luminous plants, insects, and various species of snakes, which can often be spotted at night by the glow of their eyes. Day 3
In the morning, we return to the lodge for breakfast. Continuing the journey, we visit the indigenous chagras for an insight into their ancestral customs. A local guide will provide a talk about their interaction with the land and the preparation of traditional foods for their consumption. After lunch, enjoy some rest and a relaxing afternoon in the crystal-clear, sandy waters of the Paraná. Dinner and evening rest.
Day 4
At dawn, we enjoy the awakening of nature, filled with the energetic sounds of birds. We dedicate time to detailed observation with binoculars, gaining a deeper understanding of the species that inhabit the high jungle. Afterward, we savor a delicious breakfast before meeting the natives of the nearby Yagua and Ticuna communities. Here, we participate in a cultural exchange and the crafting of artisanal items, guided by their ancestral knowledge. Lunch, rest, and return to the Amazon River to conclude the journey in Leticia at 5 PM.
