Located 75 km from Leticia on the Amazon and Javari rivers, between Peru and Brazil.
Day 1
Sailing southwest on the majestic Amazon River to join the Javari River in a journey of approximately 75km, we arrive at the Zacambu Rainforest Lodge located in Peruvian territory, accommodation, rest and lunch time. Beginning of a boat ride to the confluence of the rivers for sighting of pink and gray dolphins that gather to offer their friendship and demonstrate their skills, reflected with a beautiful sunset. At night an exciting tour in motorized canoes along the lagoons and rivers discovering in the dark the mystery of the jungle and the caimans in their habitat. Rest
Day 2
Departure in small boats to the banks of the Javari River for an exciting fishing activity capturing various species including the Red Piranha, continuing deep into the jungle on a hike to explore the natural pharmacy of the Amazonian ancestral cultures, local guides will take samples of some species for a detailed explanation and demonstration of the functioning of each plant. Lunch and return to Leticia.
Double or triple rooms at the lodge.
It is recommended to be vaccinated against yellow fever and to carry insect repellent.
The hike is of moderate level, suitable for people with basic physical condition.
